WHY A HOLISTIC APPROACH?

While Western thought—rooted in Cartesian philosophy—often frames us as fragmented, mechanical beings in need of compartmentalized, clinical treatments, Alissa's studies in yoga, somatics, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and spirituality affirm a very different truth. She, like many others, holds the understanding that we are inherently multidimensional and interconnected—mind, body, and spirit woven together, each aspect deserving of care and attention in harmony.

Alissa also recognizes that we are not separate from one another or from the earth. When the land suffers or the collective is unwell, individual bodies and spirits often reflect that imbalance. Healing, then, is not only personal but also relational and ecological.

Through her work, Alissa offers personalized, integrative support for those seeking to tend lovingly to their inner and outer worlds. She draws from IFS, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), somatic therapies, and folk medicine to help others reconnect with their whole selves and the land around them.

Her approach is enriched by teachings from many lineages beyond the Wise Woman Tradition. Below are just a few of the many teachers and guides who have shaped her path:

“To heal, to become whole, we turn again around the spiral of our life. We turn again around the spiral and enter the void, the great unknown, knowing only that our form is reformed, that our form is transformed, that rebirth inevitably follows death.”
